he company used its Intercept Technology shrink film product for the task. The heat-shrink plastic film wraps almost any size, is resistant to ultraviolet radiation and is suitable for recycling and incineration.
The film, made from low density polyethylene, uses patented copper-polymer materials to provide corrosion control for all metals when sealed inside a layer of the film and prevent corrosion on the object's metal surface. In addition, the copper works to prevent the growth of mould or mildew.
The product is suitable for wrapping open storage racks in the mining, oil, gas and transport industries and is said to be environmentally friendly.
